1. Hyundai

Hyundai is one of the leading car brands in the market and is known for selling cars at a lower price. You might think this car brand can’t provide a great warranty because of its car price, but you’re wrong.

Car warranties from Hyundai are excellent. Its powertrain warranty is one of the best ones there – covering up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. It will cover the transmission, transaxle and engine parts as long as it was originally installed by the manufacturer and became defective under normal use.

But just like anything else, this warranty has a downfall as well. It will only be good for the car's original owner. Meaning, if the vehicle is given away or sold, the new owner only has a limited 5-year or 60 miles warranty dating back from the date of purchase of the original owner.

The limited warranty will still cover several car components, including radio and audio system, battery, paint, and other car parts for varying amounts of time.

2. KIA

Cars from KIA have some of the best warranties in the industry. The manufacturer’s basic car warranty lasts for five years or 60,000 miles. They also offer a 10-year or 100,000 miles powertrain warranty in all their new cars.

The dual program from KIA will cover the transmission, transaxle, and engine parts. It also covers all issues with factory-installed car parts. This carmaker believes that all the vehicles they produce are built to last, and their warranties should last as well.

Aside from that, this carmaker also offers a 5-year or 100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty that comes with roadside assistance. It means all the vehicle's body panels and bodywork will be covered in case an accident occurs.

But just like Hyundai, the full powertrain warranty will only be applicable to the original owner. If the vehicle is sold, the new owner will only receive a 5-year or 60,000-mile limited warranty – covering the transmission and engine parts.

3. Mitsubishi

The basic car warranty from Mitsubishi is good for five years or 60,000 miles. Unlike the two other car brands, this warranty covers all owner, be it the original owner or the next owner in case the car is sold.

Bumper-to-bumper coverage is the other term for basic warranties. This warranty will cover all defects in the car parts that are factory-installed. The tires may or may not be included in a basic warranty, but most of the time, tires are covered by a different warranty.

Genesis is the luxury brand of Hyundai, which also has the best warranty in the automobile industry. Genesis offers a more excellent car warranty than its non-luxury parent company.

The first three years or the 36,000-mile of the warranty are covered for repairs. If you buy a Genesis car, you will get three years of road assistance with no mileage units.

Just like the rest, the powertrain warranty can’t be transferred to the second owner if ever the car is sold. But the comprehensive car warranty does. It is carried over to the next owner when you sell the vehicle.
