All-new station wagon Peugeot 508 SW 2019 officially revealed

The Peugeot 508 SW 2019 will be launched at the Paris Motor Show 2018.

At the beginning of this year, Peugeot has released the all-new 508 sedan with a luxurious interior and a crisp design in the exterior. Now, the French carmaker continues to make the 508 family more colorful with a new body type. Let’s welcome the Peugeot 508 SW 2019 - a station wagon.

The new car’s appearance is said to be developed from the exterior design of sedan version except for an additional elongated roof and hatch. The wagon will be debuted in the near future.

As for the interior, the Peugeot 508 SW 2019 gets i-Cockpit of Peugeot featuring the similar steering wheel and 12.3’’ dashboard as the sedan variant. Additionally, a 10’’ mounted touchscreen comes equipped with 3D navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink.

For safety features, the 508 SW is armed with a lengthy list of advanced features including an infrared thermal imaging night vision system, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, sign recognition, auto high beams, parking assist and auto emergency braking.

Under the hood, the Peugeot 508 SW 2019 is powered by a 1.6L gas powertrain which is capable of cranking out either 177 hp or 222 hp, works in a conjunction with an eight-automatic gearbox. Besides, it is also offered a diesel option with a 1.5L, 2L or 2.5L with 128 hp, 158 hp and 177 hp correspondingly. Especially, the 128 ho engine is added a six-speed manual transmission.

According to the latest car news, the Peugeot 508 SW 2019 will be launched at the Paris Motor Show 2018 and go on sale later in Europe in January 2019.

It is also claimed that Peugeot will also sell its gas plug-in hybrid 508 station wagon by the end of 2019.
