What’s in store for us in the new generation of Honda Amaze!

Amazing Amaze – quite redundant, right? But the redundancy surely pays off when you see the all new Honda Amaze that was launched in India last May 2018. The Honda model went through a major revamp compared to its predecessor, giving it a more sporty and gutsy look. Although still unavailable from the Honda Philippines’ website, Philcarnews.com is here to give you a sneak yet detailed peek of this lovely new version of Honda Amaze 2018.

The second generation of the Honda Amaze offers a whole new revamped look compared to the first generation, and alongside with the new look, comes with new features that will surely wow anyone, Honda and non-Honda fans alike.

The Honda Amaze’s second generation comes quite bigger than the first release, with dimensions of 3995mm in length, 1695mm in width, height of 1501mm for the S, V and VX models while 1498mm for the E model and a wheelbase of 2470mm.

It also comes in five different colors, namely: Radiant Red, Orchid White Pearl, Modern Steel, Golden Metallic Brown and Lunar Silver. It was released in three different grades, the E grade, S (as an addition to E grade) and V (in addition to the S grade).

All of the grades also come with standard features that include: Sleek and Stylish Headlamps, Premium Rear Combination Lamps, Solid Wing Face Chrome Grille, Body Coloured Front and Rear Bumper, Rear Micro Roof Antenna (For E grade) and Shark Fin Roof Antenna (For S, V and VX grades). All of the variants also come with a Side Step Garnish.

On the other hand, S, V and VX grades share the following exterior features: Integrated LED Turn Indicators on Door Mirrors, Body Coloured Outer Door Handle, Door Mirrors and Black Sash Tape On B-Pillar. While V & VX exclusively sport the Headlamp Integrated Signature LED Position Lights, Front Fog Lamps, Multi-Spoke Stylish R-15 Alloys and Front & Rear Mudguards.

Additionally, only the S grade is equipped with Full R-14 Trim Wheel.

The new Honda Amaze 2018 focuses on providing comfort and top of the line cabin feel while giving the driver a feeling of control and confidence. It also ensures a spacious interior that gives enough room to move and sit comfortably during journeys. The seats come in an elegant color or Premium Beige.

The Honda Amaze 2018 also has a seating capacity of five passengers with a cargo space of 420 liters.

All the variants come with the front and rear power windows, One-Touch Down Driver Side Window, an accessory socket that only comes in front for the E grade while for the rest, there’s an accessory socket in front and in the rear.

Things to note include: Paddle shift is only available for the V grade Manual transmission and CVT, and Manual A/C only comes in the E and S variants.

According to the latest car news, the Honda Amaze 2018 apparently has just been launched in India, it’s still unknown as to when it will be released in the Philippines.
